This photo of my 6-year old daughter Emily was taken on Easter just a few weeks ago. I am especially grateful this Mother’s Day. It has been almost one year ago that she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It has been a rough year but I have learned to cherish each moment I have with my daughter even more. She has been a little self conscious of her hair because it’s still growing back in but I think it looks adorable. We plan to spend Mother’s Day outside planting flowers!
Have a great Mother’s Day!

If the website and/or blog is looking a little funky the past few days it’s because I’m revamping the entire site! I’m combining the website and blog so everything has a more cohesive look and hopefully will make it easier to view. My goal is to make everything look ‘fresher’ and easier to use. Soon, when you go to the main website link (www.kariwhiteheadphotography.com) you will be directed to only this site and the current website will be gone!
My poor blog has been sadly neglected and I hope that combining my regular website and blog into one main site will help me keep it updated! I currently have to log into to two different systems to update my website and blog which takes way too much time!
Of course, it’s taking a little longer (and is a little more challenging!) than I first planned, so please be patient. It will be worth it! I have lots of updates I will be posting soon (I know, I always say that and never do…but this time I promise!)
