Happy Mother’s Day!

This photo of my 6-year old daugh­ter Emily was taken on Easter just a few weeks ago. I am espe­cially grate­ful this Mother’s Day. It has been almost one year ago that she was diag­nosed with Acute Lym­phoblas­tic Leukemia (ALL). It has been a rough year but I have learned to cher­ish each moment I have with my daugh­ter even more. She has been a lit­tle self con­scious of her hair because it’s still grow­ing back in but I think it looks adorable. We plan to spend Mother’s Day out­side plant­ing flowers!

Spring calls for an updated and refreshed website!

If the web­site and/or blog is look­ing a lit­tle funky the past few days it’s because I’m revamp­ing the entire site! I’m com­bin­ing the web­site and blog so every­thing has a more cohe­sive look and hope­fully will make it eas­ier to view. My goal is to make every­thing look ‘fresher’ and eas­ier to use.  Soon, when you go to the main web­site link (www.kariwhiteheadphotography.com) you will be directed to only this site and the cur­rent web­site will be gone!

My poor blog has been sadly neglected and I hope that com­bin­ing my reg­u­lar web­site and blog into one main site will help me keep it updated! I cur­rently have to log into to two dif­fer­ent sys­tems to update my web­site and blog which takes way too much time!

Of course, it’s tak­ing a lit­tle longer (and is a lit­tle more chal­leng­ing!) than I first planned, so please be patient. It will be worth it! I have lots of updates I will be post­ing soon (I know, I always say that and never do…but this time I promise!)
