Dakota {High School Senior Portraits}

I have to say it feels GREAT to be doing a few photo sessions again! I posted a few months ago about my daughter Emily and her battle with leukemia. I’ll post more about that later but I am ecstatic to report that she has been in remission since May!

I’ve been photographing here and there over the past few months. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Dakota — a 2013 high school senior. He likes the outdoors so we headed to Black Moshannon State Park for his photos. Here is a sneak peek of the session!

High School Senior Announcements & Invitations

I love creating cards and announcements for my clients.  I think this is one of my favorite senior invitations ever!  Cards and announcements can be ordered with different shapes.  They can be ornate shaped (such as the one below), square, circle, scalloped, etc.  Different paper textures are also available.  My favorite card season is quickly coming up…Christmas!  I’ll be announcing mini sessions that include Christmas cards soon!

Rachael {West Branch High School Senior Photos}

The day I took Rachael’s senior photos was a pretty dreary day. It had rained early that morning and the dark, heavy clouds kept hanging around through late morning. I was worried it would start raining any minute but luckily the rain held off until the last 10 minutes of the shoot! Cloudy days are a great time to photograph because I don’t have to deal with the harsh sun which causes lots of squinting and strange shadows! We had a beautiful location for photos right near Rachael’s home! She was a natural in front of the camera…I’m having a hard time choosing my favorite photos from the day! Here is a peek:

Andrew | {Philipsburg-Osceola High School Senior Photography}

Andrew and his mom Amy wanted senior photos where “Andrew looked like Andrew”.  They didn’t want stiff posing but wanted something that looked more natural.  I didn’t give Andrew much direction other than just telling him to stand as he normally would.  He was a natural in front of the camera!  We had a fun time and Andrew and Amy were very pleased with the photos (yay!).  Amy ordered a large canvas print of the first photo shown below and it looked fantastic…she cried when she saw it.  I know I did my job if mom’s cry when they see their photos!  Thank you for asking me to take your senior photos!

Chelsea = Gorgeous! | {High School Senior Photography}

Here are a few photos of the GORGEOUS Chelsea from Philipsburg-Osceola High School!  We took these in the evening and the light was just perfect!  I LOVE these!  The middle photo would look stunning as a large canvas print!

Last 2010 High School Senior (I think!)

As of now, this was my last scheduled 2010 senior session.  I’m already scheduling 2011 seniors for this summer.  I have a lot of great ideas I want to try out — I can’t wait!

Senior photo session and something new…

These are photos of Jayme — a high school senior. Jayme was fun to work with and I think her photos turned out fantastic! I hope she likes them as much as I do. I’m pairing them with something new.…Wallet Frames. These frames are available for wallet sized prints only and are great for senior photos!
